Kablooza

Last weekend, I watched the first episode of a new television series called White Collar. It follows a witty plot in each of the episodes I’ve watched so far (I’ve actually been downloading episodes off the internet as the anticipation for new episodes kill me for whatever series I’m watching).

The first episode was simply brilliant. I don’t think I would be watching the other episodes if I hadn’t watched the first. Although the episodes don’t totally depend on each other, White Collar does link the episodes all together through a side story with the main character, Neal Caffrey, who finds the location of his “ex-girlfriend”.

However, despite all that has been said, White Collar is just another crime and investigation television series, such as the multiple CSI variations, that attempts to be unique through the linking of the episodes. I may continue to watch it only because I rarely actually start television series when they are so close to the initiation of the story build up.
